Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject-matter expert on access and coverage issues affecting Alnylam products; educate HCPs and staff to facilitate appropriate patient access.
- Analyze access issues and advise on payer policy/process for field sales and regional management.
- Coordinate with the Hub for individual patient cases, including referrals to patient support services for enrollment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Field Reimbursement Director, Field Sales, Patient Services Case Management, Specialty Pharmacy Account Liaisons) while following corporate/industry policies.
- Analyze payer criteria and provide offices product access expertise.
- Educate HCPs on Alnylam Assist enrollment, appeals requirements, and benefit coverage (Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid).
- Answer coverage questions, including ICD-10 codes and patient-specific access questions.
- Educate and update HCPs on private/public payer coverage changes impacting access.
- Support patient access with subject-matter expertise on access barriers in compliance with SOPs.
- Educate on Hub program reimbursement/financial assistance and tools (provider portal, copay tracking, forms); communicate available resources/forms.
- Demonstrate urgency to minimize access barriers; strong verbal communication and issue prioritization.

Requirements:
- BS/BA required or 1.5+ years as a field reimbursement specialist OR 3+ years as a biologic coordinator/office practice manager.
- Experience navigating prior authorization for pharmacy and medical benefit coverage.
- Cardiology or Rare Disease preferred.
- Proven experience working with Hubs; deep knowledge of prior authorization/appeals across payer types.
- Knowledge of commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in the region.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel (overnights and/or weekends).

Compensation:
- $123,300.00 - $166,800.00.

Territory:
