The Eye Care Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is an in-office alternative resource available to address HCP questions about patient access and reimbursement for AbbVie Eye Care products. Responsibilities include educating on AbbVie access/reimbursement tools, advising HCPs on patient prescription status and program eligibility, and educating HCP offices on payer processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs on patient support programs (access and reimbursement tools/services)
- Educate on product-specific acquisition/access options (e.g., specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution)
- Educate on resources to address access issues
- Provide local expertise on national/regional payer policies (payer issues, coding changes, claims submission)
- Liaise/collaborate with AbbVie Access and Reimbursement support center on Rx status and program eligibility updates
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams
- Establish and maintain provider relationships within territory
- Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or relevant equivalent industry experience required
- 3+ years in a therapeutic area with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement
- Extensive experience educating others on payer processes and specialty-medicine access/coverage requirements
- Leadership track record; ability to communicate coding/billing requirements nationally and regionally
- Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, D reimbursement dynamics
- Strong understanding of specialty drug acquisition/dispensing (specialty pharmacies/distributors, white-bagging, etc.)
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services
- Understanding of access/reimbursement support service centers and compliant interactions
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements; drive personal auto/company vehicle or powered equipment
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements for entry into facilities in assigned territory (including background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses)
