Role: Parkinson’s Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) (field-based). Candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city (Orlando, FL; Gainesville, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Tampa, FL).

Specific Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools and services
- Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options (e.g., specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution)
- Educate on resources available to address access issues
- Provide local expertise on national/regional payor policies, payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes
- Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory
- Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in rare disease with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement
- Demonstrated understanding of rules/regulations/risks related to reimbursement support services
- Thorough understanding of payer policy processes, systems, and requirements for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines
- Strong ability to communicate coding/billing requirements at National and Regional levels across settings of care
- Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D reimbursement dynamics
- Strong understanding of drug acquisition/dispensing (e.g., Part B DME, Buy and Bill, specialty pharmacies/distributors)
- Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and compliant interaction
- Excellent territory and account management skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to drive (personal auto or company car/truck) and possess valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements
- Satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements for facility entry in assigned territory (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, required licenses)
