Field Reimbursement Manager, Advanced Parkinson’s

Specific Responsibilities:
- Act as field-based alternative in-office resource answering HCP questions on patient access and reimbursement for Duopa and Vyalev.
- Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access/reimbursement tools and services.
- Educate on product-specific acquisition/access options (e.g., specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution).
- Provide resources to address access issues.
- Provide local expertise on payer policies (coding changes, claims submission processes).
- Coordinate with AbbVie Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
- Establish/maintain provider relationships within territory.
- Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in rare disease with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement.
- Strong technical understanding of payer policy processes/systems for specialty medicine coverage, coding, and payment.
- Ability to communicate coding/billing requirements nationally and regionally across care settings.
- Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement dynamics (Parts A, B, C, D).
- Knowledge of rare disease drug acquisition/dispensing (e.g., Part B DME, buy and bill, specialty pharmacies/distributors).
- Strong access & reimbursement support center knowledge; compliant interactions.
- Excellent territory/account management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Driving personal/company vehicle or powered equipment.
- Meet all HCIR credentialing requirements for territory facility access.
