Role: Parkinson’s Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) (field-based; live within reasonable distance of primary city). Territory cities: Birmingham, AL; Little Rock, AR; Jackson, TN; Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access and reimbursement support tools/services
- Educate on product-specific acquisition/access options (e.g., specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution)
- Educate on resources available to address access issues
- Provide local expertise on national/regional payer policies (payer issues, coding changes, claims submission)
- Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within territory
- Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in rare disease with Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access & Reimbursement
- Demonstrated understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services
- Thorough understanding of payer policy processes/systems/requirements for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines
- Strong ability to communicate coding/billing requirements at national and regional level across all care settings
- Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and associated reimbursement dynamics
- Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in rare disease (Part B DME, Buy and Bill, specialty pharmacies/distributors, etc.)
- Strong understanding of access/reimbursement support service centers and compliant interaction
- Excellent territory and account management skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Drive personal or company vehicle/equipment; valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements for facility access (background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, required state/city licenses)
