About The Job

In this field-based, Patient Support Services position, the Field Reimbursement Associate (FRA) is responsible for assisting with patient pull through of Sanofi-Genzyme’s portfolio in territories where additional resource is required. The FRA will be expected to learn about product procurement, contracting financial assistance offerings, patient support, access, medical policy, and work to build relationships with practice managers and internal stakeholders. This education will be provided through formal training provided by Sanofi Genzyme and on the job mentorships.

The FRA will be responsible for covering territories across the country on a short-to medium term basis (e.g., period of weeks to months) where a business need for additional coverage has been identified (e.g., due to a vacancy or for other reasons). Geographic flexibility is a must, as FRAs will be expected to spend time in the territory they are covering as needed, which could be anywhere in the United States.

The FRA role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to hone his or her knowledge on an reimbursement in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment within Patient Support Services. FRAs will have the opportunity to travel the country and work with various members of the Sanofi-Genzyme Patient Support Services organization. The FRA role will report to the Field Development Manager (FDM) PSS Dupixent.

Main Responsibilities

  • FRA will work to become a subject matter experts on product procurement as it relates to buy & bill processes, billing and coding education, claims and adjudication by site of care, financial assistance offerings from MS One to One, provider contracting and issue resolution pertaining to the purchase and billing of Sanofi-Genzyme‘s Dupixent product by health care providers and/or healthcare facilities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Patient Support Services Hub and communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to lead Dupixent Pull Through efforts.
  • Plan and implement geographic business plans to support appropriate access to Sanofi-Genzyme’s Dupixent therapies.
  • Provide support in triaging contracting, access and procurement questions and other issues where appropriate.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with all key customer segments (internal and external).
  • Develop working relationships with state societies, associations, and advocacy groups, as needed, to support patient access and raise overall awareness for Sanofi-Genzyme.
  • As needed, conduct HCP office visits to facilitate pull through efforts and problem solve escalated issues as a HIPAA compliant contact.
  • Work compliantly to reduce cycle time and increase conversion rate for patients prescribed Sanofi-Genzyme therapies.
  • Attend local, regional, and national meetings as directed.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree Required.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information.
  • Geographic flexibility—able to travel to any geography within the United States.
  • Comfortable with change.
  • Self-starter who can form relationships with new customers quickly.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Can travel extensively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in life sciences or business preferred, MBA a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred and specialty experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work across multiple functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
