Field Medical Outcomes Director, Internal Medicine

Role: Field Medical Outcomes professional responsible for informing customer decision-making and improving population health via real-world data analytics, pharmacoeconomic evaluations, and outcomes research. Objectives: develop and execute compliant medical strategies within assigned territories, educate healthcare decision-makers on clinical and economic impacts of Pfizer medicines, and foster strategic collaborations to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities: provide objective scientific information on Pfizer products, support health information technology initiatives, facilitate research projects, and develop clinical content tailored to payer and healthcare provider needs. Engage with organized customers—including payers, specialty pharmacies, and healthcare organizations—to influence formulary decisions, conduct presentations, and gather customer insights to inform medical strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's in health sciences (required), PharmD/PhD preferred; 6+ years in clinical, managed care, HEOR, or related fields; strong communication, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills; experience with health data analytics and HIT is advantageous. High-Value Specifics: focus on integrated healthcare delivery, population health management, and non-interventional studies; experience with claims data, EHR systems, and clinical informatics preferred. Collaboration: interact with internal medical, HEOR, and commercial teams as well as external healthcare stakeholders. Work Setup: primarily field-based, with extensive travel (40-50%), within the New England region, requiring a valid US driver’s license and proximity to major airports.
