Role: Field Engineer I supporting GE HealthCare equipment maintenance and service, primarily in Central Illinois. Objectives include performing preventative maintenance, assisting with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and fostering customer satisfaction through service excellence. Responsibilities encompass timely maintenance, basic troubleshooting, equipment repairs, effective communication with customers and team members, and administrative duties like service records and parts ordering. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, military experience, or 4+ years servicing electronic equipment with high school diploma/GED. Proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license required. Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and on a rotating on-call schedule. Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
