Role Summary
Field Engagement Manager โ Shockwave Medical is a fully remote role within the U.S. that serves as a liaison between downstream marketing and U.S. sales teams. The role is responsible for keeping the sales organization apprised of current commercial and marketing priorities, developing and managing marketing tools, and disseminating content to engage the field. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams across marketing, clinical affairs, market access, medical education, sales training, brand strategy, and marketing operations, and reports to the Associate Director, Field Engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an intermediary between the marketing organization and U.S. field, ensuring alignment of current marketing and commercial priorities.
- Oversee established communication channels (e.g., HubSpot) and develop content for distribution; establish new channels as necessary.
- Manage the sales enablement platform (e.g., Allego) with support from product marketing and medical education; analyze utilization to optimize use.
- Maintain a master calendar of internal and external physician touchpoints across the marketing function.
- Build relationships with sales councils to identify operational efficiencies and synergies between marketing and the U.S. field.
- Partner with brand strategy to develop internal campaigns targeting the U.S. field to clearly communicate priorities.
- Keep the field informed of commercial developments, performance, and strategic priorities; define cadence and channel mix.
- Collaborate with the communications team to champion U.S. commercial and marketing activities across internal channels.
- Recommend new sales tools, channels, and platforms for the marketing team to leverage with the U.S. field.
- Coordinate with marketing operations on conference presence to keep sales leadership and field informed of key conferences.
- Support marketing operations and sales training teams in the development and execution of sales and product launch meetings.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs degree, with a focus on marketing or communications or equivalent experience.
- Required: Minimum 5 years of field engagement, internal communications, sales training, product marketing, or equivalent experience, preferably in cardiovascular medtech.
- Required: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as an individual contributor or as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
- Preferred: Experience using sales team communications and engagement tools like Allego, Modus, HubSpot.
- Required: Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders and all levels of management across Shockwave Medical.
- Required: Ability to sit for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day).
- Required: This position is fully remote and may require up to 30% travel (Global & U.S.).
