Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with US Medical Directors, US brand team, clinical partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement regional field medical strategies and actionable MSL plans.
- Partner with Alliance organization (Supernus Pharmaceuticals) US Medical team.
- Lead MSL team to drive education resulting in measurable HCP behavior change and improved patient outcomes.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure MSL impact and execution against medical/brand strategy; use leading and lagging indicators for continuous improvement.
- Maintain deep understanding of therapeutic area, products, competitive landscape, and evolving regulatory/treatment guidelines.
- Prioritize and reprioritize field activities in response to scientific, regulatory, or market changes.
- Lead operating rhythm (e.g., weekly KPI/dashboard reviews) for performance management and targeted coaching.
- Coach, develop, and conduct bi-annual territory reviews with Medical Leadership.
- Ensure MSLs have clarity on medical strategy, aligned engagement plans, and execution against KPIs.
- Ensure compliant, high-quality Voice of KOL (VoKOL) insights; oversee use of field tools/systems (e.g., Veeva, OLA) for compliant HCP targeting and documentation.
- Drive adoption of approved tools/processes to improve efficiency and scientific impact.
- Serve as primary regional field medical liaison; communicate insights internally to inform strategy and planning.
- Articulate medical strategy value to leadership; mentor internal stakeholders and share best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:
- 7+ years Medical Affairs experience, including MSL (required) and Field Director (required); Medical Strategy experience (highly preferred).
- Advanced scientific/clinical degree required; doctoral preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP).
- Clinical trial recruitment experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and management of Medical Affairs teams.
- Strong communication/presentation and organizational skills; manage multiple projects.
- Travel 60% including overnight and occasional weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to drive company leased vehicle or rental.

Preferred:
- Women’s Health clinical experience/subject matter expertise.
- 2+ years managing field-based Pharmaceutical/Biotech employees.
- Experience navigating an ultra-competitive disease state.
