Field Director, Medical Science Liaisons – Northeast Region- Obesity and Related Conditions

Role: Field Director of Medical Science Liaisons overseeing the Northeast region (NY, CT, MA, RI) to develop and execute medical strategies in Obesity and Related Conditions. Responsibilities include leading and coaching regional MSL teams, ensuring compliant and impactful scientific engagement with opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and institutions, and collaborating with internal stakeholders on strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives. The position involves developing field tactics, guiding MSLs in communicating clinical and economic data, and representing the team to senior leadership. Qualifications: Doctorate (MD, PhD, PharmD, DO) with 4+ years of Medical Affairs experience, or a Master’s with 8+ years, or Bachelor’s with 10+ years, plus 4 years of managerial or leadership experience. Preferred: extensive industry experience in biotech/pharma Medical/Scientific Affairs, specialization in Obesity and Related Conditions, and prior MSL experience. High-Value: focus on Obesity & Related Conditions, leadership in Medical Affairs, cross-functional collaboration, scientific engagement strategy, and team management within a biopharma R&D setting. Work setup: likely hybrid, with regional travel to engage with healthcare professionals and attend congresses.
