General Summary:
As the Field Analytics and Reporting Associate Director, you will support field analytics for current and upcoming product launches. You will help design, plan, deliver, and drive adoption of analytics across Strategic Customer Engagement Team field roles and support cross-functional partners (Market Access, Marketing, Forecasting, Marketing Science) and North America Field Operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own field reporting business needs, system requirements, and development oversight for field, field management, and HQ users
- Partner with IT and vendors to create roadmaps, timelines, and deployment plans
- Develop mock-ups and support Power BI application updates/enhancements
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for business questions, early launch findings, and refinements
- Design, build, and roll out analytical dashboards for real-time field analytics
- Understand data warehouse models; recommend best practices/optimizations for data use
- Ensure data definitions, business rules, and warehouse structure/support model support ongoing/ad hoc analytics
- Monitor field performance, inquiries, KPIs, and feedback to drive training and knowledge of systems/data/processes
- Liaison with Field Operations to incorporate deliverables/timelines into field planning
- Identify risks/barriers and propose solutions to optimize field efficiencies
- Partner with sales leaders to address gaps in buy-in/accountability/performance (resources, knowledge gaps, coaching)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Hands-on analytics in Snowflake and Power BI
- Communicate complex insights to brand and business unit leadership
- Strong pharmaceutical sales operations acumen (CRM, customer data, retail/institution sales data, field reporting, incentive compensation)
- Strong project management; manage partners/vendors
- Experience driving adoption and measuring field impact
Education and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree and 8+ years in pharmaceutical analytics
- 3+ years delivering complex pharma launch analytics (brand planning, field strategy/sizing, channel optimization, performance reporting, ad hoc business planning/support)
