Farm Animal Senior Analyst – Sustainability Operations
Responsibilities:
- Lead the data model, governance, access security, and data integrity roadmap for the sustainability platform ecosystem; maintain Power BI dashboards/reports for data verification and real-time stakeholder visibility.
- Optimize/automate data processes; improve data flows and integrations with internal/external partners; identify system enhancements that maximize platform ROI; ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance.
- Troubleshoot data issues and resolve/escalate concerns; improve user experience; create and deliver training materials for internal teams, sales teams, and external users.
- Partner with Sustainability Program Design, business stakeholders, and IT vendors to define customer needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, manage milestones/dependencies/risks, and communicate status.
- Coordinate cross-functional user testing and solution launches; apply process improvement/learning agility to enhance systems and operational processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years as a business analyst, project manager, or related role in the farm animal industry.
- Advanced Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Row-Level Security) and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions via project management, business analysis, and cross-functional communication.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Animal Science/Environmental Science/Sustainability/Data Science/Agriculture (Master’s preferred).
- SQL, Databricks, SmartSheet, ArcGIS, or similar tools.
- Experience with agricultural sustainability initiatives/dairy operations or sustainability platform development.
- Agile and Waterfall experience.
- Customer service, technical writing, compliance procedures, and process documentation.
