Operations
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on site utility, electrical, HVAC, and facility systems (including purified water, chillers, boilers, compressed gases, wastewater, air handling units, cold rooms, switchgear, emergency generators, liquid nitrogen systems, fire protection, and building management/control systems).
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair motors, pumps, valves, filters, compressors, switches, dampers, fans, piping, transmitters, vessels, safety devices, and other components supporting production, quality, and distribution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Automation, Quality Assurance/Control, Warehousing, and Validation.
- Conduct corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance while meeting quality requirements.
- Lead initial alarm response, notify the system owner, and correct alarm conditions.
- Participate in quality investigations and implement corrective actions as requested.
- Maintain audit readiness.
- Complete accurate documentation required for cGMP operations; perform routine work in clean room environments.
- Monitor and operate Building Automation System (BAS) and Equipment Monitoring System (EMS); reconcile daily alarms and initiate deviations as required by cGMPs.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related skilled trade field, or 3 years relevant experience with utility, HVAC, or electrical systems in a biotech/pharma/laboratory/hospital or other regulated industry.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to analyze and investigate equipment technical issues (including building maintenance systems).
- Flexibility to work all shifts/holidays.
- Ability to work around laboratories/manufacturing areas and lift 10–20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb ladders.
