Key Responsibilities
- Oversees contractor resources by tracking and managing contractor estimates and work.
- Tracks and manages contractor estimates for accountability for financial performance.
- Interfaces with Lilly engineering groups, contractors, Life Safety, A&E firms, Central Indiana Alliance, and vendors.
- Approves work order charges; ensures closure on completed GMARS maintenance work orders.
- Performs landlord duties to maintain clean, safe facilities.
- Ensures contractors complete all necessary training.
- Performs project management on small capital/maintenance projects.
- Ensures Housekeeping procedures are executed and facility is inspection ready.
- Executes Change Control in TrackWise; places HOLDs and/or creates Maintenance Action Plans (MAP).
- Communicates with personnel on projects and maintenance/repair activities.
- Ensures safety for all personnel using permits (Safe to Work, Fire Cards, Confined Space, etc.).
- Ensures Lilly specifications/standards/procedures are met.
- Reviews/processes contractor invoices and work orders for accuracy.
- Manages contractor expenses; estimates costs to ensure charges don’t exceed agreed amounts.
- Authorizes contractor work plans and schedules; coordinates contractors/vendors.
- Plans and executes small projects, including purchases.

Basic Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Prior maintenance/manufacturing experience (bulk manufacturing operations, utilities, or related).
- Regulated industry experience; understanding of CGMP policies and compliance expectations.
- Proficiency in GMARS or comparable CMMS.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills; customer service orientation.
- Strong organization and attention to detail; manages multiple priorities.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, EDMS, QualityDocs).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Lilly does not sponsor visas).

Additional Information
- Preferred: Associate’s degree in Engineering/Technical field.
- Standard business hours with after-hours support; overtime/on-call required; 24-hour mobile availability.
- Some off-schedule on-site/off-site work; minimal travel.
- Work in areas with allergens; wear appropriate PPE in manufacturing/lab areas.
