Position: Finance Manager – Corporate Consolidations (New Brunswick, NJ). Reports to Sr. Finance Director – Consolidations in the Corporate Controller’s Group.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, report, and consolidate enterprise currency hedging and other fair value disclosures for Form 10-K and Form 10-Q
- Prepare consolidated Statements of Other Comprehensive Income and Equity
- Manage accounting for gains/losses from private and public investment portfolio
- Account for internal restructuring projects
- Coordinate and lead governmental reporting for legally mandated U.S. government requests
- Provide thought leadership by framing and communicating complex accounting and reporting to stakeholders across all organizational levels; develop operational feasible outcomes
- Prepare and review 10-Q and 10-K filings
- Support internal controls for financial reporting, including XBRL tagging preparation and/or review
- Coordinate across business units/departments to collect, analyze, and summarize information for SEC filings and supporting documentation
- Establish and document accounting policies and procedures; support implementation plans for updated FASB pronouncements
- Identify process improvements/issues and work with functional teams to implement solutions
- Lead government reporting processes as technical expert
- Serve as point of contact for external and internal auditors
- Provide coaching and training on technical requirements as needed
- Participate in BRAVO upgrade project to SAP Group Reporting
- Engage legal entity accounting teams during significant acquisition/divestment transactions (including Orthopedics separation)
- Supervise, train, and develop a senior analyst direct report
- Perform ad hoc projects for the Corporate Controllers division

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (accounting, finance, or economics preferred)
- 8+ years finance/accounting experience OR 6+ years Big 4 public accounting experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong financial analysis skills; ability to partner across all levels and lead/collaborate in a matrixed environment
- Leadership and influencing outcomes strongly preferred
- Strong analytical ability to assess accounting gaps/theories quickly
- SEC reporting experience preferred
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Previous people management experience preferred
- Prior audit experience of public entities preferred
- Prior worldwide project team experience preferred
- Primarily based in New Brunswick, NJ; potential travel depending on projects
