Role Summary

External Manufacturing Business Analyst. Regeneron is seeking an EM Business Analyst to support EM business operations, analytics, and strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and standardization of processes.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with management and business partners to elicit requirements and document value streams and processes to deliver new business capabilities.
• Ensure solutions align with department standards, leverage common services, and meet financial targets.
• Collaborate with business leaders to provide inputs for initiative rationale and capability information.
• Identify planning needs and ensure initiatives fit with business capability roadmaps.
• Analyze industry and market trends to determine new and potential solutions.
• Conduct analyses to solve business problems that may involve process improvement, system enhancements, user training, or software procurement.
• Evaluate ideas and opportunities to develop new products, technologies, and business models.
• Participate in implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, testing, validation, and knowledge transfer.
• Monitor and analyze metrics to identify gaps, improve service levels, reduce waste, and increase value chain efficiency.
• Perform capacity data analysis to support Planning/Scheduling for the EM network.
• Drive A3 problem solving and Continuous Improvement projects using data analysis, process mapping, observation, and root cause analysis.
• Support process mapping and Kaizen events across the Supply Chain aligned with strategic EM imperatives.
• Support ad hoc data analysis requests across EM functions.
• Assist in the development of presentations and EM strategy updates.

Qualifications

• Required: BS/BA in business, data science, information technology, computer science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Available to work Monday‚ÄìFriday, 8am‚Äì4:30pm.
• Associate External Manufacturing Business Analyst: BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• External Manufacturing Business Analyst: 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Senior External Manufacturing Business Analyst: 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Previous experience in product management, project management, or related leadership activities preferred.

Skills

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI); familiarity with IT project management tools a plus.
• Ability to work independently with strong time and project management skills to meet timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels, including written, verbal, and visualizations.
• Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of operations analysis and process design/improvement.
• Expertise in Excel and data analytics.
• Ability to influence others and drive priorities toward consensus.
• Strong SQL skills; knowledge of Python a plus.

Education

• BS/BA in business, data science, information technology, computer science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
