General Summary
- Conduct scientific, clinical, and commercial analysis; monitor company/technology evolution across the biopharma landscape; and contribute to evaluation of collaboration/acquisition opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.
- Support all phases of external opportunity evaluation; work with transactions and alliance management teams; manage cross-functional relationships for communication and alignment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct landscape analysis; track opportunities/topics and companies for evaluation.
- Prepare decision-support materials and evaluation summaries for new technology landscaping and external business opportunities (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic).
- Participate on evaluation teams to plan, coordinate, and execute research and evaluation of assigned ideas/targets.
- Build/maintain relationships with transaction and alliance management teams; ensure coordination across departments.
- Engage scientific and clinical subject matter experts across R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, etc.
- Coordinate governance meetings, including internal/external BD meetings with evaluation teams.
- Use technology-enabled tools to improve scientific insights, operations, and knowledge/process management.

Knowledge & Skills
- Broad scientific training; high learning agility.
- Business acumen (economic/commercial/financial value creation).
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create clear, audience-tailored slide decks and communications; effective communication and negotiation.
- Demonstrated leadership impacting cross-functional teams.

Position Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D., D.V.M., etc.).
- 7+ years in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry (preferred drug discovery and early development).
- Sell-side or consulting analyst experience preferred; market modeling a plus.

Compensation/Benefits
- Pay range: $170,400–$255,600; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
- Hybrid-eligible (up to two remote days/week) or On-site (five days/week with ad hoc flexibility).
