ExploR&D Program Lead (EPL)

Role: ExploR&D Program Lead overseeing external collaboration projects from discovery through clinical proof-of-concept within Lilly's early-stage biotech support ecosystem. Responsibilities: define program strategy, develop timelines and budgets, lead cross-functional teams, synthesize scientific data, manage external biotech partnerships, and drive operational excellence. Requirements: Bachelor's in biology or STEM, 5+ years in pharma with experience across modalities like cell/gene therapies, antibodies, or small molecules; strong leadership and project management skills. Preferred: advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MS, MBA), 10+ years industry experience, deep scientific expertise, stakeholder influence, and proficiency in program management tools. High-Value: early-stage drug development, cross-modal and therapeutic area innovation, external alliance management, and resource forecasting. WorkSetup: travel 10-25% based on program needs.
