Role: Executive Medical Director, Early Clinical Development within Lilly's Aesthetic Medicine team, leading translational and clinical strategies for aesthetic and dermatologic therapies. Responsibilities: develop and prioritize therapeutic hypotheses, design and oversee early clinical studies integrating biomarkers and patient-reported outcomes, evaluate external opportunities, and support regulatory interactions. Lead cross-functional teams, influence portfolio strategy, and foster external scientific collaborations, including key opinion leaders and potential partners. Qualifications: MD or DO with board eligibility/certification in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or related fields; 5+ years industry experience in early clinical development, with preference for a PhD in Skin Biology or related fields. High-Value: focus on skin health, aesthetic indications, biologics, small molecules, regenerative medicine, and device-based treatments; involvement in IND/IDE processes, early-phase trials, and biomarker strategies; global regulatory and scientific engagement; travel 10-15%. Work setup: locations in Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, or Indianapolis. Reports to Head of Early Clinical Development, Immunology & Aesthetic Medicine, with extensive cross-functional and external stakeholder interaction.
