Executive Medical Director, Gastroenterology, Early R&I Clinical Development

Role: Lead medical development for gastroenterology and immunology pipeline programs, focusing on early and clinical-stage assets for indications like UC and Crohn’s disease. Responsibilities: provide medical leadership for trial design, protocol development, medical monitoring, and study oversight; develop clinical strategies; collaborate across R&D functions; support external stakeholder engagement, including regulators, investigators, and patient groups; and contribute to in-licensing assessments. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD with 10+ years in clinical development, specifically in immunology or gastroenterology, with experience in early phase (first-in-human to Ph2b); proven leadership in cross-functional teams; strong communication and organizational skills; deep knowledge of clinical research methodology, GCP guidelines (FDA, MHRA, ICH); and experience with regulatory documents and external engagement.
