Location: Tarrytown, NY or Warren, NJ (Travel: 10% to relevant conferences/congresses)

Discover Your Role:
- Acts as medical expert and leader in interactions with external collaborators (regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, advisory boards, patient advocacy groups), internal collaborators (Research, Early Clinical Development, Global Medical Affairs, Marketing, HEOR), and internal decision boards
- Uses scientific rigor and creative solutions to build and defend data-driven plans and decisions with internal teams and partners
- Develops innovative clinical strategies to shorten development cycle in an evolving regulatory landscape; designs FIH and Phase 2/3 programs
- Leads consensus-building across multi-disciplinary, matrixed clinical teams in a fast-paced environment
- Leads and develops a team of MDs and clinical scientists to meet business needs

This Role Requires:
- Advanced degree in medicine (MD or equivalent) required; Specialized fellowship training in Immunology or Rheumatology preferred
- Minimum 6–8 years of industry experience in related therapeutic area clinical development (preferred)
- Track record in leadership roles with credibility with senior staff, opinion leaders, and regulators
- Substantial drug development experience, including IND and BLA/NDA submission
- Experience leading study start-up; directing study execution, data cleaning, medical review, database locks, and health authority responses
- Commitment to impacting patients; strong teamwork; people management experience a plus
