Executive Medical Director, Clinical Development (Immunology)

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership and serve as primary physician voice for the povetacicept franchise; contribute scientific perspective to immunology portfolio strategy.
- Operate across Research, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Global Patient Safety, Clinical Operations, Commercial, Pharmaceutical Development, and Business Development.
- Lead global clinical development activities (e.g., data monitoring committees, steering committees, investigator meetings).
- Develop study protocols; review Investigator Brochures; review/evaluate subject exemptions.
- Oversee medical monitoring of clinical studies; assist medical monitors with adverse events and safety profiles.
- Participate in data reviews; develop briefing books; prepare for regulatory interactions.
- Interface with international regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, ICH, GCP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- People management as applicable; may include financial and HR responsibilities.

Knowledge And Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of drug development (Phase 1–4).
- Recognized authority in immunology or rheumatology.
- Experience with global regulatory agencies (EMA, Health Canada, TGA, PMDA, CDE).
- Working knowledge of biostatistics, data management, clinical operations, and clinical pharmacology.
- Experience filing/defending US INDs/NDAs (or international equivalents).
- Matrix leadership, independent problem-solving, strong communication, excellent computer skills (including AI/LLMs).

Education And Experience
- 15 years pharmaceutical industry experience designing/overseeing clinical trials and/or development programs.
- 7 years people management experience.
- Immunology and/or rheumatology expertise; board certification/eligibility in immunology or rheumatology.

Pay Range
- $320,000 - $480,000; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
