Role: Executive Medical Director, Clinical Development responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for Ray Therapeutics' ophthalmology-focused pipeline, including early- and late-stage clinical programs. Responsibilities: shape clinical development strategy, oversee protocol and study execution, interpret data, and liaise with investigators, regulators, and external partners. Lead cross-functional collaborations with Clinical Ops, Regulatory, and Safety teams; contribute to study design, regulatory submissions, and scientific communications; mentor clinical staff; support regulatory interactions and portfolio management. Requirements: MD, DO, or PharmD with 7-10 years in biotech/pharma, significant clinical development leadership, and specific expertise in ophthalmology, retina, or neuroscience. Experience with clinical phases, registrational studies, and regulatory processes is essential.
