In This Role, a Typical Day Might Include
- Serve as the single point of accountability for Regeneron’s global-to-local pharmacovigilance model.
- Ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across all regions and countries by defining the scope and governance of regional PV Hubs.
- Establish clear boundaries between global, regional, and local responsibilities; translate regional insights into strategic guidance for GPS leadership.
- Drive a unified, patient-centered approach to safety while enabling appropriate local adaptation to meet regional regulatory requirements.

- Partner with cross-functional US and International teams to embed a patient safety mindset (e.g., gather feedback; establish knowledge sharing forums).
- Provide functional oversight of WWOO and regional PV Hubs, ensuring operational performance, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and consistent global process application.
- Define execution scope for regional PV Hubs (what localizes vs. centralized execution) and delineate responsibilities between GPS and affiliate teams.
- Establish governance for local process adaptation to meet local regulatory requirements.
- Develop innovative approaches integrating new technologies, including AI.
- Aggregate regional/country insights and potential risks to shape/prioritize PV objectives.
- Coordinate with key GPS functions (QPPV, Case Management, Quality & Compliance).
- Adapt the international model to changing business needs, including assessing future PV Hub needs.
- Build, coach, scale teams; drive succession planning and talent pipelines.
- Lead talent strategy and leadership development.
- Influence cross-functional leaders to align priorities and drive enterprise results.
To Be Considered, You Must Have
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, MS, or MBA) preferred; Bachelor’s required.
- 17+ years pharmacovigilance and international operations in life sciences.
- Minimum 7 years in leadership roles managing international/multi-regional operations.
- Ability to develop relationships and influence GPS and non-GPS stakeholders (e.g., QPPV, Med Affairs, Regulatory).
- PV compliance, inspection readiness, and quality oversight across multiple markets.
- Strategic mindset translating regional complexity into governance and executive insights.
- Preferred: AI technology experience.
