Position Summary
- Executive Director, CASA, Commercial US & WW Forecasting TA Lead; trusted, collaborative advisor to Commercial and Finance leadership, providing strategic guidance and data-driven insights to maximize therapeutic area commercial potential.
- Deliver robust, insight-driven forecasts across short-term (Year 1), mid-term (Year 3), long-term (Year 10), and business development (BD) horizons.
- Shape therapeutic area strategic decisions by integrating market insights, actual performance, and advanced analytics into comprehensive forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end forecasting process for the therapeutic area (Year 1, 3, 10, BD scenarios).
- Establish defendable revenue expectations; transparently communicate business risks/opportunities; identify actionable levers to unlock commercial potential.
- Translate complex business questions into actionable forecasting roadmaps aligned with enterprise and brand strategies.
- Integrate forecasting with chart audit, competitive intelligence, and market research to enable scenario planning.
- Enable matrix leaders across Commercial, Finance, MAx, Business Development, R&D, and Investor Relations (IR) to drive short-, mid-, and long-term KPI goals.
- Facilitate alignment of assumptions for a unified net sales view.
- Gather and integrate forecasting inputs/assumptions from MAx, Brand, and Finance (e.g., market events, rates, price assumptions).
- Lead and operate the Integrated Net Sales (INS) forecasting model; ensure consistent/accurate calculations (gross demand, GTN, inventory/pipeline, net sales).
- Partner with Finance to deliver quarterly, annual, and long-term forecasts across key cycles (P1/P2/P3, Budget, LTFP).
- Define forecasting scenarios with brand leads/MAx; align assumptions; run sensitivity analyses.
- Partner with CASA Customer Engagement and Data teams to reflect latest market dynamics and performance trends.
- Maintain dialogue with commercial, medical, and finance stakeholders to align assumptions and scenario planning.
- Lead/collaborate and communicate with team members across geographies.
- Serve as primary point of contact for forecasting topics with enterprise partners (Ex-US markets, Supply/GPS, Finance).
- Drive enhancement of forecasting capabilities using AI/digital innovation; adopt advanced analytics/tools/best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Serve as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions for AI initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing forecasting team; promote innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Champion change management and new ways of working; foster diversity and inclusion; develop career paths in forecasting/insights/analytics.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in forecasting/analytics or related fields in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
- Proven expertise in short-, mid-, and long-term forecasting, including business development evaluations.
- Proficient in statistical tools and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills; ability to interpret complex data.
- Subject-matter expertise in pharma business and datasets used in forecasting (claims, volume, sales, payers, accounts, etc.).
- Ability to standardize processes, automate manual steps, and improve data quality (with BI&T).
- Ability to select and apply appropriate analytical/modeling approaches to improve forecast accuracy.
- Familiarity with integrated net sales components (gross demand, GTN, pipeline/inventory).
- Familiarity with therapeutic area and brand dynamics to contextualize forecast signals.
- Experience working cross-functionally across the commercial matrix (e.g., Brand, MAx, Finance).
- Strong communication skills; convey insights/implications to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration, especially with customer engagement and data teams.
- Strong track record driving AI and digital innovation in forecasting.
- Exceptional leadership, critical thinking, and communication; demonstrated influence of senior leaders and business unit heads.
- Strong leadership managing large cross-functional/matrixed teams (including BU-specific resources) and leading complex strategic initiatives.

- $273,870 - $331,866
- Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available (based on eligibility).
