Responsibilities:
- Serve as senior technology advisor to SVP of US commercial and US Commercial leadership; anticipate needs, shape demand, and influence decisions with evidence-based recommendations.
- Deliver thought leadership for US Commercial AI Transformation.
- Represent DTE as senior technology leader for US Commercial forums; ensure alignment across Commercial, Medical, Legal/Compliance, Privacy, Security, Data Governance, and Finance.
- Communicate complex technology/data/AI in crisp business terms; escalate risks/decisions with clear options.
- Define and continuously refine US Commercial Technology strategy and multi-year investment roadmap.
- Translate strategy into an integrated portfolio across business capabilities (BU partnership, patient services, market access/contracting, field excellence) and enabling tech (data/analytics, AI adoption, integration, quality/compliance).
- Own prioritization, delivery governance, value realization, and reliable run performance (incident/problem/change/release expectations).
- Establish OKRs and value metrics tied to commercial outcomes; report progress.
- Drive US requirements/adoption for shared/global platforms (e.g., CRM/digital engagement, Martech, customer engagement platforms).
- Ensure end-to-end integration (data flows, identity/access, content, contracting, patient services) and interoperability/scalability.
- Lead vendor strategy and buy-vs-build; rationalize/manage vendor performance.
- Identify/prioritize/scale high-value US commercial AI/analytics use cases; ensure responsible AI (compliance, privacy/security, model risk, human-in-the-loop).
- Own budget planning/forecasting and financial stewardship across ~$65M spend; drive cost transparency and ROI-based decisions.
- Ensure solutions meet Vertex policies and privacy/security/promotional compliance/data protection regulations; own third-party risk expectations and resilience planning.
- Partner to embed controls and audit readiness with Quality/Regulatory, Security, Privacy, and Legal/Compliance.
- Lead/develop/retain inclusive leadership team; build succession and strengthen product/data/AI delivery.

Qualifications (Minimum):
- 15+ years progressive experience in technology/digital/data/analytics; substantial experience leading commercial-facing technology in life sciences or similarly regulated industries.
- 7+ years leading leaders with accountability for multi-portfolio delivery and operations.
- Deep Life Sciences Commercial domain expertise; working knowledge of major commercial platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce, Snowflake, PowerBI, Model N).
- Demonstrated success delivering business outcomes through commercial platforms and responsibly scaling data/AI.
- Ability to influence senior executives/governance bodies; exceptional executive communication.
- Strong knowledge of security, privacy, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated financial management (budget ownership, vendor oversight, forecasting, value tracking).
