Role: Executive Director, U.S. Medical Affairs Cardiovascular Portfolio Lead, responsible for developing and executing the U.S. medical strategy across Amgen's cardiovascular assets, including Repatha and pipeline programs, to advance evidence generation, scientific communication, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities: lead cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and external partners; oversee portfolio-level planning and integration of established and pipeline assets; develop above-brand strategies addressing care gaps, health equity, and policy; lead team development; and drive scientific narratives, congress planning, and educational initiatives. Requirements: doctoral or advanced degree with at least 6-10 years of medical affairs or cardiovascular experience; significant leadership experience managing teams and portfolios; expertise in cardiovascular disease, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement in the U.S. market. Preferred qualifications include industry experience with product launches, lifecycle management, and broad scientific knowledge across cardiovascular indications.
