Role: Executive Director, Toxicology at Centessa Pharmaceuticals (a Lilly subsidiary), providing scientific and strategic leadership for nonclinical safety in small-molecule drug development for neurological disorders. Responsibilities: lead and mentor toxicology teams, define and execute safety strategies across discovery to early clinical stages, oversee toxicology studies (GLP/non-GLP), and serve as primary nonclinical safety representative in regulatory interactions; contribute to IND/NDA preparations and portfolio planning. Requirements: PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, DVM or related; 18+ years in pharma/biotech R&D with proven toxicology expertise supporting small-molecule programs; experience in regulatory submissions and CRO management; strong leadership and communication skills.
