Position Overview
- Strategic partner and advisor to the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT), driving alignment, execution, and operational excellence across Marketing, Sales, Thought Leader Liaisons, Market Access, Patient Access, Commercial Strategy & Operations, Government Affairs, and Meetings & Events.
- Ensures clarity and momentum for key priorities and innovation opportunities; facilitates cross-functional collaboration; leads high-impact strategic initiatives to support business objectives and accelerate growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support high-priority commercial projects, innovation initiatives, or transformation programs.
- Translate CLT decisions into actionable plans and monitor progress against goals.
- Prepare briefs, analyses, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Liaise between Commercial and cross-functional partners (Finance, Medical, HR, Legal, IT, etc.) to ensure alignment, escalate/remove barriers as needed.
- Support timely execution of key priorities and projects.
- Support execution of key organizational processes (e.g., governance implementation, brand planning, quarterly tactical execution reviews, financial planning).
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable operational improvements.
- Lead development of materials and presentations for executive forums, Board reports, and leadership communications.
- Organize and facilitate key commercial meetings; ensure agendas are focused and decisions are documented.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure resource allocation; assemble and lead cross-functional project teams.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, monitor progress; foster collaborative, motivated teams.
- Provide regular status updates on milestones/risks; manage stakeholder expectations.
- Monitor progress using KPIs/performance metrics; prepare/present project reports to CLT.
- Evaluate outcomes to identify lessons learned and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in business, life sciences, marketing, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Typically 8β15+ years of experience in commercial strategy, operations, consulting, or leadership roles within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Experience in MASH and/or with related specialists, commercial operations, and leading strategic initiatives preferred.
