Executive Director, Strategic Operations

Role: Executive Director (or Senior Director) of Strategic Operations overseeing Arrowhead’s global portfolio management, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment within biopharma. Responsibilities: facilitate portfolio refinement and prioritization, develop operational rhythms, lead strategic lifecycle planning, oversee trade policies, and support governance processes. Also drive risk management, network and manufacturing strategies, transformation initiatives, budget ownership, talent development, and stakeholder communication. Requirements: Doctorate with 6+ years or Master’s with 10+ years of strategic and operational experience; 6+ years managing teams or projects; strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skills; ability to work in a matrix environment; travel up to 20%. Preferred qualifications include 12+ years in biotech or healthcare operations, experience with technology portfolios, change management, budget management, and talent initiatives; MBA or related advanced degree advantageous.
