Role Summary
The Executive Director, Strategic Customer Engagement, Neurology CBU (Commercial Business Unit) is a leadership role within Regeneron’s Neurology Commercial Business Unit. The incumbent will report to the Vice President heading the CBU and will be based at Regeneron’s Sleepy Hollow, NY headquarters. The primary focus is to provide strategic oversight for the launch and execution of our neurology brands, beginning with Myasthenia Gravis, and to create a coordinated, field-facing approach that optimizes performance of Neurology Sales Specialists while ensuring patient-centric, compliant business practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a commercial customer-facing strategy with the VP, Head of CBU to position Regeneron as a major player in the Neurology market.
- Contribute to the development of the Company’s strategic commercial plan to grow the business profitably.
- Provide field leadership and direction to Neurology customer-facing field teams, including hiring, motivating, and developing the team to meet customer expectations.
- Establish credible relationships with key organizational and business collaborators inside and outside Regeneron, including health care providers and key opinion leaders; build relationships with Neurology experts.
- Align with colleagues in Marketing, Market Access, Field Reimbursement, Commercial Operations, Trade and Distribution, and Medical Affairs, and collaborate with the broader Commercial, Corporate, and R&D organizations.
- Lead a high-quality, high-performing field team capable of delivering Regeneron’s technology and commercial promise to patients, while achieving budget and revenue targets.
- Keep Regeneron Executive Leadership informed of significant external events and threats and proactively address them.
- Ensure Field team compliance with federal, state and local laws, industry regulations and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications

- Seasoned commercial executive with sophisticated management skills and a proven track record in pharmaceutical or biotech companies; recent product launches in injectable biologics; Neurology experience preferred; Myasthenia Gravis or Neurology Rare Disease experience a plus.
- Experience leading highly successful field teams.
- Strategic and tactical abilities to develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan while delivering Field commitments within budget and targets.
- Ability to establish governance to ensure Neurology CBU remains compliant with laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Ability to build credibility and momentum for initiatives within the CBU and Regeneron.
- Analytical decision-maker with a track record of delivering on business objectives.
- High energy, inspirational leadership with exceptional communication and team-building skills.
- To be considered for this role you bring:
- BS in a life sciences or related field; MBA preferred.
- Recent launch experience in the Rare Neurology injectable market is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience across progressively senior roles.
- Strong leadership skills, including hiring, developing and retaining personnel while delivering revenue targets.
- Experience in biologic products and buy-and-bill reimbursement experience.
