Responsibilities encompass leading immunology triage processes, conducting due diligence, designing collaboration plans, and engaging in governance and external representation. The role involves cross-functional interaction with Research, Early Development, Business Development, and external partners, with a focus on advancing immunology assets toward clinical development. Requirements include PhD or equivalent in immunology, inflammation biology, or related fields, with 10+ years of drug discovery or early development experience in pharma/biotech, deep expertise in immune-mediated diseases, and proven capability in external opportunity evaluation, collaboration structuring, and negotiation. Preferred qualifications include a track record of progressing programs to IND or beyond, experience with cross-disciplinary teams, and understanding of legal, contractual, and geographic considerations. The position involves approximately 30% domestic and international travel, with Cambridge, MA, as the preferred location, and offers a comprehensive compensation package.
