Role: Senior leader within BMS's Integrative Sciences focused on external innovation in hematology-oncology, responsible for sourcing and advancing high-value collaborations and assets in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Responsibilities: communicate research priorities, lead triage and evaluation of external opportunities (academic, biotech, platform technologies, pre-IND/IND assets), design and execute external collaboration strategies, and serve on governance and oversight bodies. Represents the company externally and liaises with multiple internal functions including Research, Early Development, Business Development, and Alliance Management. Requirements: PhD or equivalent in cancer biology, hematology, or immuno-oncology; 10+ years in drug discovery or early development with deep oncology/hematology expertise; proven ability to evaluate external scientific opportunities and shape collaboration plans; excellent leadership and communication skills. Preferred: track record of advancing programs to IND or beyond; experience across cross-functional teams; understanding of legal, financial, and geographic aspects of collaborations.
