Executive Director, Product Development, Analytical Services & Direct Material

Role: Executive Director, Product Development, Analytical Services & Direct Material, leading procurement for end-to-end product lifecycle support across development and manufacturing at Bristol Myers Squibb. Responsibilities: integrate Direct Materials Procurement into the existing organization, develop strategic category plans, oversee supplier performance, drive cost savings, and lead organizational change. Collaborate with R&D, quality, manufacturing, and global procurement teams; ensure compliance with GMP and governance standards; mentor a procurement team; and foster innovation and continuous improvement. Requirements: B.S. degree (M.S./MBA preferred); 15+ years of international experience, with 10-12 years in multi-disciplinary procurement—preferably in biopharma, pharma, or medical devices—covering product development, analytical services, or direct materials; proven expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, and large-scale project leadership; GMP procurement experience essential. High-Value: biopharma industry, product development to commercialization, GMP compliance, global stakeholder engagement, cross-functional leadership, and strategic sourcing. WorkSetup: onsite 50% over two weeks, with significant travel (domestic and international).
