Position Summary
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and above-country market access strategies (disease models, value stories, global pricing, economic modeling, Clinical Development input).
- Partner with Medical Affairs, customers, and distribution providers to identify real-world/patient QoL evidence and publication opportunities.
- Monitor healthcare legislative/policy trends; develop reimbursement strategies.
- Understand total cost of care and reimbursement (coverage, coding, payment) across outpatient/inpatient and payer segments.
- Build disease/product value propositions (AMCP Dossier, Value/Economic materials) and reimbursement support tools.
- Monitor competition; identify pricing, coding, and reimbursement strategies for current and pipeline assets (US and Ex-US).
- Support ICD-10-CM and HCPCS coding initiatives; assess market access risks/opportunities and update Target Product Profiles.
- Develop payer materials for disease awareness; support contract/rebate opportunities (outcomes/risk-based).
- Manage agency relationships/contracts for on-time delivery and budget alignment.
- Provide organizational subject matter expertise (coverage access intelligence, reform, trends, pull-through).
- Represent company at key industry conferences (AMCP, PCMA, ISPOR, Asembia, etc.).
- Lead payer engagement (PIE/PVP), educate payers on label/clinical criteria, and resolve prior authorization/rejection issues with payer/support teams.

Qualifications:
- Experience with rare/orphan drugs (TA experience a plus).
- Product launch experience required; company start-up preferred.
- Familiarity with pharma/biotech legal/regulatory landscape.
- Strong analytics; government pricing/HTA/programs and trade systems knowledge.
- Flexibility; ability to lead projects; strong internal/external relationship building.
- Excellent communication/presentation; detail-oriented; business acumen and compliance mindset.
- Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s minimum (sciences/business preferred; MS/MBA/MPH/MD/DO/PhD/PharmD preferred).
- 10+ years biotech/pharma; 5+ years US market access/reimbursement; global/international and HEOR/coding expertise preferred.
