Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and provide scientific and strategic direction to teams developing and executing high-quality evidence strategies and plans.
- Ensure annual Value & Implementation (V&I) plans for the therapeutic area deliver research data and evidence for markets with impending launches.
- Help achieve/sustain reimbursement and market access for the therapeutic area.
- Accountable for development and delivery of timely, robust health outcomes and economic evidence to support and optimize market access, pricing, reimbursement, HTA, formulary listing, and promotion.
- Build matrix relationships with clinical development, medical affairs, market access, commercial, and key markets to align strategies with payer/HTA requirements.
- Represent team perspectives to shape outcomes research strategy through leadership involvement.
- Develop partnerships with internal stakeholders and external thought leaders in RWE, health economics, health-care policy, and HTA to inform value evidence strategies.
- Stay current on scientific/methodological developments and apply new methods to HEOR studies.
- Ensure study conduct aligns with company policies/SOPs and worldwide regulations (including GPP where applicable).
- Disseminate value evidence via congress presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and other promotional communications.
Education:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DrPH, ScD, PharmD) in relevant discipline.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 10+ years post-degree experience.
- Proven team leadership and global experience.
- Evidence generation supporting guidelines, reimbursement, and payer/provider access and treatment decisions.
Preferred:
- Experience across product lifecycle (early development through lifecycle management).
- Strong TA experience and published research.
