Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as senior leader in US Medical Affairs; set TA program strategy and oversee U.S. field medical team execution.
- Determine U.S. strategy and tactical plans for TA-aligned deliverables; lead U.S. Medical Affairs Team (MAT) meetings.
- Lead RMSD medical account planning to build strategic partnerships with health systems.
- Provide scientific consultation to R&D; ensure compliant ways of working from strategy to execution.
- Collaborate with alliance partners as needed.
- Lead field medical teams, including mentorship; develop and manage yearly budget; oversee approvals for program-related expenses.
- Create and implement Country Medical Affairs Plans (CMAPs); ensure U.S. input into Global V&I plans.
- Lead strategic insight collection and sharing; oversee field medical strategies across five pillars: Scientific Exchange, Company Trials, Investigator-Sponsored Programs, Congresses, and Scientific Insights.
- Coordinate field scientific/research capabilities with GCTO/GCD; support IIS and therapeutic real-world evidence.
- Coordinate congress planning/execution in compliance with policies, laws, and ethics.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (MD, PharmD, PhD).
- Required: 7+ years industry experience (preferred relevant TA such as infectious diseases/vaccines); 5+ years front-line field medical leadership (scientific exchange and research support, preferably in TA); proven strategic initiative leadership; success in complex matrix global org; AI-first mindset; strong executive communication; regulatory/ethical/pharma compliance expertise; strategic partnership-building; people leadership; deep therapeutic knowledge; U.S. healthcare ecosystem understanding; travel up to 50%.
- Preferred: research/publication experience; Microsoft Office Suite/Veeva and field medical systems; learning agility; field team management in local market.

Benefits / Compensation (explicit)
- Salary range: $255,800.00β$402,700.00; annual bonus and long-term incentive (if applicable); comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement (401k), paid holidays, vacation, compassionate and sick days.
