Responsibilities:
- Lead U.S. Policy & Government Affairs external industry engagement; coordinate, direct, and advance BMSโ€™ trade association engagement.
- Drive policy outcomes at major biopharmaceutical trade associations in alignment with BMS priorities.
- Partner with USPGA executive engagement team to integrate trade association and executive preparedness.
- Position C-suite and other leaders to shape short- and long-range policy agendas and influence outcomes.
- Own policy priority alignment within trade associations (federal/state/international; regulatory; IP/law), with decision authority.
- Lead strategy for a team maximizing BMS participation across key trade associations; serve as subject matter expert.
- Direct development of executive-level briefings for CEO and ELT; author executive materials synthesizing policy/governance implications and options.
- Ensure trade association activity supports corporate priorities; manage continuity from planning through execution.
- Identify emerging issues/risks/misalignment and elevate with recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years in government affairs, health policy, trade association leadership, or executive advisory roles; management experience preferred.
- Proven ability to navigate complex governance/external engagement environments.
- Deep knowledge of major U.S. biopharmaceutical trade association structure/governance.
- Strong U.S./global health policy knowledge and business strategy interaction.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication; discretion and strong executive presence.
- Collaborative, matrixed-organization effectiveness; detail-oriented judgment.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated):
- $276,340โ€“$334,853; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
