Role Overview
Executive Director, Global Program Leader (GPL) is responsible for overall development, execution, and governance of Legend Biotech’s in vivo CAR-T programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and execution for assigned in vivo CAR-T programs across the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain integrated global development plans across scientific, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial objectives.
- Accountable for program success, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
- Drive portfolio decision-making (benefit-risk, competitive landscape, development options, investment priorities).
- Lead global clinical development and registration strategy.
- Partner with Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs to design efficient pathways to proof-of-concept, pivotal development, and global approvals.
- Guide regulatory interactions and health authority milestones; ensure readiness for INDs, CTAs, BLA/MAA, and lifecycle management.
- Chair Global Program Teams; foster cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Translational, Clinical, Regulatory, Biometrics, CMC, Quality, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Business Development).
- Establish governance, present strategies/risks to leadership, and manage risks/contingencies.
- Represent the company with external partners and support business development assessments.
- Mentor teams and build a patient-focused program culture.

Requirements
- 10+ years biotech/pharma drug development experience.
- 5+ years leading complex global development programs.
- Proven success advancing biologics/cell/gene therapies through clinical development.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Experience with global regulatory interactions and major submissions.
- Oncology/immunology/cell therapy/gene therapy/in vivo genetic medicines strongly preferred.

Benefits
- Base pay range: $256,073–$336,097 USD; performance-based bonus and/or equity; medical/dental/vision; 401(k) match; 8 weeks paid parental leave after 3 months; paid time off (vacation, personal, sick, floating holidays, 11 company holidays; plus other voluntary benefits).
