Executive Director, Global Program Leader

Role: Senior strategic leader responsible for overseeing the global development and execution of Legend Biotech's in vivo CAR-T programs, from IND enabling through clinical proof-of-concept, registration, and lifecycle management. Responsibilities include defining integrated development strategies, aligning cross-functional teams across Research, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial functions, and ensuring timely achievement of milestones. The role entails leading program decision-making, regulatory interactions (including IND/CTA and BLA/MAA submissions), and representing the program with external stakeholders. Qualifications: 10+ years in biotech/pharma with at least 5+ years managing complex, global development programs; proven success in biologics, cell or gene therapies, ideally in oncology, immunology, or advanced therapeutic modalities; extensive knowledge of clinical development, regulatory pathways, and in vivo gene editing technologies. Preferred skills include strategic thinking, influencing senior leadership, portfolio management, and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment. High-value specifics: in vivo CAR-T, cell therapy, immunology, oncology, clinical phases IND to registration, global regulatory engagement, and leadership in a matrix organization.
