Position Summary
Global Program Leads (GPLs) are strategic, problem-solving business leaders accountable for drug development and commercialization of assets from later-stage Discovery (pre-GT2) through commercialization.

Key Responsibilities
- Create asset vision; design and execute development programs aligned to R&D portfolio goals.
- Lead cross-company strategy and governance to define/revise asset development plans.
- Analyze progress and deliver data/interpretation for rapid, data-driven decisions.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, differentiated assets to commercial; meet standards (quality, budget, schedule, compliance).
- Align program strategy/operational plans with functional capabilities; communicate risks, competitive impacts, and milestone progress.
- Drive portfolio strategy for internal/external opportunities.
- Support regulatory filings (NDA/BLA) and orphan drug designation strategy.
- Engage Health Authorities/Advisory Committees on clinical trial design and endpoints.
- Develop clinical and commercialization strategy, business case development, and access/pricing/reimbursement-informed trial design.
- Translate clinical data into scientific and commercial strategy (publications/claims/labeling considerations).
- Build relationships with KOLs, partners, patient advocacy leaders, and Health Authorities; lead KOL plans (with Medical Affairs).

Leadership and Matrix Alignment
- Collaborate across the BMS matrix with an enterprise mindset; lead high-performing cross-functional teams; hold self/others accountable; lead with integrity and seek feedback.

Qualifications
- MD, PhD, DVM, PharmD, MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- 10+ years drug development experience; leadership experience.
- Expertise in drug development, regulatory expectations, and commercialization; strong matrix leadership.
- Cell therapy experience preferred (biology, optimization, translational medicine, clinical pharmacology/dose selection).
- Strong scientific/mechanistic understanding; ability to lead under uncertainty and present/influence senior leaders.
