Responsibilities:
- Shape and execute a global IT Procurement strategy aligned to business objectives, delivering measurable strategic value.
- Collaborate with senior IT and cross-organization leadership to identify transformative opportunities and drive innovation.
- Lead development and execution of global IT procurement category strategies for IT Services, Software, Hardware, and Telecoms.
- Translate category strategies into actionable sourcing projects that deliver measurable value.
- Partner with Indirect Procurement leadership and stakeholders to evolve strategies with organizational needs.
- Provide expert insight on IT procurement categories.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders; influence make-or-buy operating model decisions.
- Lead high-impact negotiations, supplier management initiatives, and strategic supplier partnerships.
- Execute best-in-class vendor management for IT suppliers and ensure compliance with GxP and applicable regulations.
- Drive process improvements to enhance stakeholder experience and ensure seamless IT service delivery.
- Use data-driven decision-making to deliver successful category projects and optimize procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15β20 years of progressive procurement experience, including substantial IT procurement category experience.
- Proven success leading global categories, teams, processes, and suppliers in a multinational organization.
- Experience managing senior professionals and leading cross-functional teams.
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills specific to IT vendors and suppliers.
- Proficiency with sourcing/contracting tools, ERP systems, and eRFx platforms (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba).
- Ability to use standard business applications for communication, presentation, and data analysis (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
