Executive Director, Global Marketing β HIV & Emerging Viruses
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve a long-term global HIV strategy; identify unmet medical needs and market opportunities using research/analytics/competitive intelligence.
- Evaluate and prioritize internal pipeline and external partnership/acquisition opportunities.
- Serve as the commercial voice on cross-functional development teams (clinical strategy, target indications, product profiles); align development plans with differentiated value propositions and market needs.
- Influence regulatory and medical strategies to support product positioning and access.
- Lead product profiles, positioning, branding, and messaging during clinical development; define global value propositions using economic/outcomes data.
- Drive launch readiness (publication strategy, naming, competitive positioning).
- Own global post-approval commercial plans (positioning, branding, market access); partner with international affiliates for consistent execution.
- Guide lifecycle management (Phase IV alignment, portfolio optimization).
- Lead matrixed pan-regional teams across Commercial, R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Government Affairs.

- Aligned global HIV strategy; differentiated product positioning/input; portfolio prioritization; strengthened cross-region/function alignment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs + 16+ years OR Masterβs + 14+ years OR PhD + 14+ years relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/PhD/PharmD/MD; global pharma marketing/strategy; HIV therapeutic area marketing; new product planning/portfolio/lifecycle; market research & forecasting; lead complex global matrix teams; influence senior stakeholders; strong PM; design/execute global commercial strategies.

Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $281,010.00β$363,660.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
