Responsibilities:
- Lead the Global Insights organization (Directors and teams) delivering market and customer insights across therapeutic areas, pipeline assets, and in-line brands.
- Partner with senior commercial leadership to provide insights and recommendations informing brand and portfolio strategy.
- Ensure a portfolio-based operating model enabling prioritization, standardization, and scalable insight generation.
- Collaborate across Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, Global Marketing, Global Value & Access, Analytics, and regional teams to integrate insights enterprise-wide.
- Advance insights capabilities by adopting automation, AI, and advanced analytics to strengthen predictive capabilities and analytical rigor.
- Drive cross-capability collaboration to avoid fragmented insights.
- Provide strategic guidance on market opportunity assessments, brand strategy, lifecycle planning, and clinical development support.
- Build and lead a high-performing global workforce across multiple sites.
- Deliver insights with high quality, timeliness, and budget management; comply with Amgen SOPs.

Qualifications:
Basic:
- Doctorate + 6 yearsโ€™ experience OR Masterโ€™s + 10 years OR Bachelorโ€™s + 12 years (market research/analytics/competitive intelligence/sales/marketing operations).
- 6 years managerial experience directly managing people and/or leading teams/projects/programs/resources.

Preferred:
- Ability to influence senior leadership; strategic thinking/business acumen.
- Experience leading multi-brand/therapeutic-area insights/analytics organizations.
- Experience integrating market research, analytics, forecasting, and competitive intelligence.
- Executive communication/storytelling; global team leadership.
- Knowledge of drug development/commercialization/healthcare ecosystem.
- Experience with advanced analytics, automation, AI-enabled insights.
- Ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

Benefits/Application (as stated):
- Expected U.S. salary range: $252,756.85โ€“$341,965.15.
