Executive Director, Gilead Asset Team Leader (GATL)

Role Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional asset teams to develop and execute asset and program strategies across multiple indications and drug combinations.
- Serve as primary liaison for senior leadership within the governance model; drive collaboration across development, manufacturing, and commercialization.
- Ensure timely achievement of key asset milestones; monitor progress against TPP, Asset Plan, and Lifecycle Plan (LCP) with adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop and present comprehensive global asset strategies covering product development, manufacturing, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
- Facilitate governance decisions; resolve high-impact issues, drive scenario planning and risk analysis, and present data for Go/No Go decisions.
- Lead and align cross-functional teams around a unified asset vision; foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.
- Engage internal and external partners; ensure operational excellence and program milestone delivery.
- Articulate and advocate for asset strategies and clinical objectives; collaborate on disease area strategies for discovery, innovation, development, and lifecycle planning.

Qualifications & Required/Preferred Skills:
- Advanced scientific/medical/commercial background with drug development expertise; proven enterprise-level decision-making.
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership across global initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across discovery, development, regulatory, and commercial lifecycle phases.
- Ability to lead and deliver impact without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills; track record of strategic value delivery in global pharma/biotech.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 14 years’ experience OR Master’s + 12 years’ OR PhD + 12 years’.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Scientific/business bachelor’s required; PhD/MD/MBA (MD/PhD prioritized for some roles).
- 14+ years biopharmaceutical industry experience (8+ in relevant biotech/pharma roles).
- Experience with commercial launches and program/asset strategy teams.

Benefits (if explicitly stated):
- Salary range: $302,005.00–$390,830.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
