Executive Director, Discovery Oncology

Role: Executive Director, Discovery Oncology, leading global research in cancer indications with a focus on developing novel therapeutics. Responsibilities: oversee a team of 20-40 scientists, define and execute strategic portfolio plans across modalities including small molecules, biologics, and cell therapies; drive target discovery, validation, and progression to clinical candidates; foster innovation through external collaborations and internal initiatives; manage resources, budgets, and talent development; communicate project strategies to senior stakeholders. Requirements: PhD in Oncology or related field, 15+ years of drug discovery leadership, proven record in advancing programs to clinical candidate status in solid malignancies; expertise in cellular, molecular, and immune tumor biology; extensive experience across modalities and immune therapies; strong publication record and external network; excellent leadership, communication, and strategic skills.
