Executive Director, Clinical Development (Inflammation & Immunology)
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical development vision and strategy for an Inflammation & Immunology asset/portfolio (including programs entering Phase 3 alongside early indications).
- Own development of the Target Product Profile (TPP) and Clinical Development Plan (CDP).
- Shape strategic decisions across multiple indications and disease areas; ensure alignment between clinical strategy, regulatory objectives, and portfolio priorities.
- Lead cross-functional execution at scale as a Development and Evidence Team Lead (DETL) (or oversee DETLs), driving delivery across a matrixed organization.
- Direct cross-functional teams (clinical, regulatory, safety, biometrics, medical affairs).
- Partner with internal governance bodies and enterprise leadership.
- Ensure delivery of key milestones across study design, execution, and reporting.
- Oversee end-to-end clinical trial delivery across the asset lifecycle.
- Lead protocol design, study oversight, and medical monitoring; ensure registrational-quality evidence.
- Oversee data review, interpretation, and results communication.
- Represent the program externally and with regulators.
- Lead interactions with global health authorities; present at congresses; contribute to publications.
- Shape disease area strategy through partnerships (KOLs/collaborators) and support business development evaluations (when applicable).
Basic Qualifications
- MD or DO with 8+ years of clinical, scientific, or drug development experience in biopharma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification in hematology or rheumatology.
- Experience in immunology and/or benign hematology clinical trials; leadership of complex cross-functional programs.
- Experience leading Phase 2 and Phase 3 programs; prior global regulatory interactions.
- Proven influence with senior leadership/governance; line management experience.
- Strong delivery of complex clinical strategy at scale; exceptional communication.

Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $349,010.00–$451,660.00; may be eligible for annual bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
