Role: Executive Director, Clinical Development (MD) focusing on multiple myeloma and cell therapy programs, leading clinical strategy, trial design, and external collaborations. Responsibilities: oversee the entire clinical trial portfolio, develop and execute clinical development plans, lead protocol design, medical monitoring, and regulatory interactions, and manage cross-functional teams. Requirements: MD/DO with 8+ years of experience in clinical, scientific, or drug development, preferably with biopharma industry exposure in hematology, oncology, or cellular therapies; experience in late-stage (Ph2-3) clinical trials in cancer therapies; strong strategic, leadership, and communication skills; familiarity with GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory processes. Preferred: board certification in hematology or oncology, prior leadership of high-complexity development programs, experience with CAR T-cell therapies, and managing external partners. High-Value: focus on cell therapies targeting cancer, involvement in clinical development phases 2-3, regulatory documentation, and scientific publication contributions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Location: based in Santa Monica, CA, with some travel possible.
