Executive Director, Clinical Development

Role: Executive Director, Clinical Development, leading global neuropsychiatric and rare disease clinical programs at Acadia Pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities: develop and execute clinical development plans; oversee study design, data analysis, and reporting; foster relationships with investigators and thought leaders; support regulatory submissions; provide scientific expertise to transition compounds from discovery to development and lifecycle management; review business development opportunities; ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and ethical standards. Requirements: MD or equivalent, with 10+ years in clinical practice, research, or pharma; experience across multiple development phases; established relationships in depression, mood disorders, or neurology; leadership in cross-functional, geographically diverse teams; excellent communication and problem-solving skills; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
